I just bought a new Hudy Tech comm lathe and diamond cutter.
When I cut the comm it is nice and shiny but seems to be quite rough.
Is this the way it should be or do I have a problem?

As I am new at this maybe someone could tell me a bit about using the lathe as the instructions are not very good.
