to be on the fast side use only rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol . what im getting at is any kinda solvint will eat at the plastic . i first tryed brake clean on the decals and even though they came of easyly it also meltd a then layer of the plastic that i had to then sand down smooth before i painted
