The Emaxx setup would be good for a 25" boat as stated either direct drive with a 38-40mm prop or geared with a 48mm prop.I put a 700 motor in my Electro Vee direct drive with 14.4V and it hauls pretty good with a 40mm prop.A 55" hull would require a huge motor and battery and the weight would be incredible![8D]
