Guys this plane should weigh about 16 pounds. The problem is the drag, not the weight. Really, a 24x8 is all I'm looking for. This plane can fit a DA-100 without cutting the cowl for size reference. I have flown one with a DA-50 and it flew well with a 23" prop, and it's even possible the engine wasn't performing up to potential. My DA-50 runs strong and may power the plane well but I think something just a little more powerful is the ticket.
