I am not sure where you race - I have not seen any that go that slow yet. But yes it is good advice for a new driver. There is this one guy that sometimes win when he has a single speed only hitting the low 30 - 35MPh. He sometimes wins against the really fast cars out there.

But at our track we have a straight away thats about 60 - 70 yards, some of the guys are hitting 60 - 75MPh on it. I have a NTC3 that if I am lucky hits around 50'ish. I am going to regear it for more top end speed.

Attached is my NTC3 but this is not the body I race. This is the body for when I pimp around the neighborhood. I slide all over the road with this body, but very fun to drive.
