just had to say, you will not be asking your self for more power if you went with a 58gx2.
i have one in a EF yak at 17.5 lbs., with a MTW pipe that is lighter than some of the da50 EF yaks are coming in at.i wouldn't worry about the weight of the 58, in this size of plane you will never notice it.i had a da50 in the same plane with the same pipe, looking to lose some weight and the only difference i could tell was the lack of power with the da.i went back to the 58 in the yak ,i was addicted to that 24-8 spinning at 7550.
