Woot....

Did my first inverted flat-spin today ( Saturday) . I started It a bit low so I had to roll out of it after only 4-5 rotations but it looked sweet. Landings are picture perfect now that I have about 15 tanks through it, stall speed is so slow my landings usually go like this.. Make approach to strip, about 59 yards out I move throttle all the way down then up one ratchet or two depending on wind or not. About 25 feet out from end of runway I go down to idle drop my altitude to 2-3 feet then let the last bit of speed bleed off and the tail will start to drop slightly and that is my queue to set it down. perfect 3 point with about 20 ft roll out on hard surface. a thing of beauty.

Just finished my first 2 gallon jug off today, the D5L 50 has been flawless Hovers at just over half throttle and pulls out nice with unlimited vertical on my 18.4 pound plane. Canister, header, HS 5955TG's all around. some would say it's too heavy, nut it flies perfect for my skill level.
