Lot's of pictures out there on different baffling designs, be sure to have a good low pressure lip to extract the hot air no matter how little baffling you use. As for the venom, use the back side of the cylinder (hotter than the front) and a couple of few fins down from the top. You want to hit just at the top of the combustion chamber. The lead wraps around the cylinder with the sensor in the loop. You can mount the read out any where you want as long as you reach it. I taped mine on the side, here are some pic's of my baffling too.
