Evan if the fixes are perfect. And they should be because a few of us have made our own induction modifications and sent pics and spec's to the new owners. It is not a plug and play engine. Careful attention to cooling, baffling, needle adjustments and timing must be taken. Till I hear differently WOT runs need to be monitored carefully or too much egt will build up and cause some harm. My engine is near perfect and wildly powerful. I can do WOT runs forever because I put the choke on a servo and have it set to close down at WOT to draw absolute max fuel flow which keeps it nice and cool. Cannisters on a very short header help tremendously to achieve cooler running while at the same time produce power not seen in anyother engine made.
Don't personaly know how the fixes are working. Still waiting for a reed block fix to compare it to mine, from them myself.
If it causes you problems post here

If it runs real good start a new post and tell us how good it runs. Either way I've posted lots of info and pics and would be more than happy to post the pics and how too's to make it run correctly.
