I'll bet there is special excitement going on about the speed event. Those fun flys with no special events where average planes just fly around in circles, I've never seen the point........ isn't that what we do the other 364 days during the year?
I don't ever recall seeing a RC speed event in the AMA calender, ever. That alone is kind of amazing.
