Default RE: Fliton mini 260

Hey Jeff,
Oddly, a friend of mine GAVE me his Fliton Extra 260. This thing has quickly become the favorite of my fleet. It is built pretty darn well, with the exception of a couple small things. And they're VERY easy to modify.

First, the main landing gear needs to be replaced. It's made of fiberglass and usually breaks after a couple bouncy landings. I recommend either aluminum or carbon fiber. They're readily available and easy to swap out.

Second, this was recommended to me, but not a problem I've experienced yet, reinforce the motor mount "box" frame section with Gorilla Glue. This will strengthen it up in case you smack the nose on landing. This person also said to reinforce to wing spar a bit too, but my friend actually epoxied them on so I can't even take the wings off.

I know this sounds bad, and as if it were a headache to even deal with.... but it's not. It's all real easy mods, and with the way this plane flys, (like a dream!!) it's well worth the extra time.

So IMO, if ya don't mind a couple easy mods, BUY IT!!! It's an absolute blast to fly!!!!
