congrats on the scale birds , they look awsome barrrick. glad folks seem to be having a good time with the flying lately for the most part.

My news from the home front, made a set of tail fins and tail boom braces from scratch this weekend , it was kinda fun. I cut apart an old lower cp frame I had laying around and used the 90 degree 5/64ths rod mounts to create a spot for some old training gear rods to go from midway on the rear landing struts up to a bit behind mid tail. in the clasic way you usualy see most pod and boom hellis have. then I did a balsa mock up of my stablizers baised vaguely on the ones the cp pro 2 will have . then I made a mould from the balsa mock up and cast new ones in plastic resin. driled a few holes and some 5/64th bolts later I have a performance looking tail for nearly zero bucks
will upload pics tomarrow if any one wants to see em . it was a fun project , and the weight is almost nothing. still need to make a mount for the other end of the tail brace sticks but that should be fairly easy. will probably cast some new holders for the ends of the carbon sticks to mount to the main landing gear as well , so that the angle is a bit sharper than 90 and so the struts go straight to the tail vs the slightly bowed way they do now. have fun every one
