Just back in from the maiden of the HBKII. It's a very different bird indeed

Hovering was very stable above the ground effect but the tail wouldn't trim for anything, back and forth. The head speed with the stock motor is barely the minimum. I flew it with a TP1320 and it got pretty warm but not nearly as hot as the motor @ 193 F. That was even after a few minutes of sitting, I see now why they don't last long. I'm very happy to have this one, I should have taken the plunge a long time ago

Rick, protecting the tail is always a good idea. I hope you get the carbon rod mounted up without to much hassle.
