yes. finger nail polish is very good for this type of un wrap problem plus great for the ends of trims so they dont peel up. before you do this job you should re seal the troubled edges with the iron and make sure all is free of any oil residues then you can start sealing with this horrid smelling laquer, make sure you do it outdoors as it does have a very strong smell like in yer man cool.
