The same has happened to my car and it sucked. I once hit a curb doin atleast 45 head on, yes I broke a few parts but wasnt too bad. THe crystal had vibrated off the receiver and caused for the car to run on its own and I had no control of it so now I bought a new Spectrum radio and receiver to avoid that problem, so yes I guess you can say it was an expencive crash.
