Hey Luke, thanks for information on your experiment. I have not tried the 'low' setting on my Jeti's but may give it a try on the bench. Secondly, the PWM rate at 13 kHz is higher than the 8kHz I am running at. Wonder if that has an impact also. I know when my son Chris tried the higher PMW settings with his Hacker outrunner he got slightly more power but the motor ran much hotter. Can you drop your PWM rate also?

Don
Don:

Phoenix 110HV has three PWM settings: 13, 26 and 52kHz, no user define.
Yes, the battery and motor temperatures dropped after I changed advance angle to "low". Look the EagleTree data "peak current" trends before and after (blue lines in charts), the peak current is almost constant after the advance angle change, I don't feel power drops in the course of flight.

Each brand of motor responses may be different. Kevin had hard time on his motor, he even got "dead stick" on his e-Focus seond flight, probably due to improper settings. I was not there, let him tells the story. Michael already converted his Focus Sport to electric. He had more than 50 flights and seems he enjoy the electric. Terry's Dualsky 12T got loose magnet as you know. Kevin will soon moves to electric, so we Tomcats gangs will soon become "Green Power".
