That fancy flex pipe will last maybe 4 hours. I used it for 4 cycle glow before going gas. It doesn't stand up to vibration, it is a flexible conduit sweep, and also used for low pressure LPG connections. As I said it lasts about 4 hours then a new piece needs to be installed. There's a reason everyone else's flex header pipe looks like it does. It works.
But AI sells it by the foot plus the braising rod so you'll be able to repair your header when needed, as long as they didn't make it from some oddball size SS tubing.
Not so, it is made of fine grade SS not cheap material like lp gas line flex pipe. You talk about it but you really do not have the material to compare. Also they are dis simular metal with different exspansion rate so when heated the joint tightens so it should not cause a problem with radio. If it should we are prepaired to supply teflon couplers. How about that JAKE.
