It is important to note that just because your a member of the AMA doesnt meen you can fly anywhere and be insured, it needs to be an AMA approved flying location and you better be following the rules if you want to be covered if something bad actualy happens.
This is not exactly true. Your AMA insurance coverage is based on following the AMA Safety Code plus obeying any local regulations that might apply. The safety code does not say your flying site must be "AMA Approved," but it does have guidelines for what constitutes a safe flying site.
