Default RE: Extending LEDs to outside on Spektrum/JR 2.4Ghz receivers?

Well, here is my first attempt. I would love to have some sort of lenses I could attach on the end... maybe an old light-bright peg or something?? Can't try it out in the sunshine tonight but even under bright light in the shop I can tell if the lights are on or off and blinking is very easy to distinguish. I simply CA'd to the case on the remote and ran the other end of the fibers through a small piece of plywood and CA'd to that. Then drilled holes in the outer body and let the fibers poke out through the skin. If I can figure out a small lense to attach outside I think it would look nice. The way it is, I doubt you'd notice them if you didn't know where to look Extreme magnification makes them look uglier than they are though they won't win a beauty contest anyway. I only ran "fiber" from the two remotes as the two LEDs from the main are smaller and not as bright and I didn't want to glue to the main receiver anyway. Maybe JR/Spektrum will take the hint and add this feature in the future! [8D]
