Thanks for quick answer. I sit here on the other side of the planet with a glass of wine and lock on the Extra!
I have a DA 85 that wait on your 35 Extra or Edge when it come to Europe!

I try to hang it on steelwire around the wingtube, it shouldnt tip back or forward if th cg its ok!

Daniel,

I think the best, easiest way to determine/set your CG is to use the " Vanessa CG Machine". They are a snap to make and work great. Check this site. http://home.mindspring.com/~the-plumber/ Vanessa %20CG%20Machine.htm

Don't let the instructions scare you. There really is nothing to it.

Be sure you use a small level so you you get the plane horizontal (level).

Here are a couple of pics of one of my planes suspended on the Vanessa . You can't see it, but I put a small mark on the fuselage where the GC is supposed to be. When the plane is level, the plumb bob points to the GC. Just move around some weight (probably batteries) to get the plumb bob pointing at your mark. That's all there is to it.

Nice thing about this method is that you immediately see the results of moving the batteries around. After you move them just re-level the plane by twisting the dowel in the appropriate direction and you can see what effect the move had.

Good luck
