Okay Don here you go:

I began flying RC planes in 1981. I am 32 years old and reside in Orlando, Florida where I work for Lockheed Martin. My father "Mr. Vortex" got me into racing in 1997 and I was hooked right away. I flew one contest in 424, after that it was on to 428 Quickee. Half way through my 1st season of racing I began flying 422 Q40. After much practice and about 30 stuff jobs, I started to get the hang of it. I will list some stats below:

1999 - Won the Q500 Phoenix Winterfest (1 day)
2000 - Became a member of Team JR.
2000 - Won the Nationals & set fast time in Q500 .. 2nd in Q40
2001 - Won the Q500 Phoenix Winterfest (1 day)
2001 - Won the Nationals & set fast time in Q500 .. 3rd in Q40
2002 - Won the Nationals & set fast time in Q40 .. 4th in Q500 and set fast time.
2002 - Won the JR Gold Cup Series Q40
2003 - Won the Phoenix JR Gold Cup Q40 race
2003 - Won the Los Angeles JR Gold Cup Q40 Race

...well enough of that. The most important thing to me is my friendship and relationship with my father. He is my biggest fan/supporter. I've really enjoyed all the people I've got to meet across the country and have nothing short of a good time racing. The minute the fun stops .... I stop.
