The problem I see with your fix is that now your acceleration from idle is severely retarted and may cause slow transiton that can hurt on aborted landings or sometimes slow accel shutdowns on startup. If you cannot get the main fuel valve to be closed during intial startup( I don't see why that is not possible) but consider puting a shutoff valve in the main fuel line between the selenoid and turbine and keep it closed until main fuel ramp begins. This way you can put your stting for accel1 back to normal
