Default RE: homelite mods and parts

ORIGINAL: Tidnab

If you still have the original canister ,you could drill two 1/2" holes in the top, block off the original exhaust outlet and add 2 stacks to it .If you want a pipe the link above has good parts and John is great to deal with.I bought a manifold and header fron him for my modded 30cc Ryobi /Homelite and made my own muffler. As far as a carb, most say the WA167 with an 11.11 venturi is best for a Homey, but I run a WT 387 on the Ryobi and a WT644 on a modded 25cc full crank Homelite and both perform well ,both with a 12.7 venturi. If your's is stock ,better stick with the WA 167.

Great info! I have a modified Homelite (25cc) with a WA 142, modified by Warehouse Hobbies. I just calle them, and they said it was an older style carb, but was a big bore. Question- mine is stalling from half throttle and up- is it too lean on the top end??

Also, great looking setup you have! Is that a homemade silencer you have in-line?? I'm putting in a Quad exhaust soon, and want to quiet it down some for that.

Thanks!
