What makes you say it is cheaper and not as good? Have you compared all of the components for quality? The Tower description indicates it has most of the same high quality features as the old one from what I have read. It doesn't have the "Optidrive", but that is a needless bell and whistle anyway which adds to the trucks expense.
Wale you do have a good point, about the Optidrive being a needless thing, I like it, or want it, as well as I like having reverse, and since it now has nether, I my opinion it is not as good.
