The easiest way to start is to get ariel photos of your F1 tracks and select a track that fits the yard the best. Then adjust the photo you have to the correct scale. Lay a grid pattern over the photo like 1" = 1" or so, and transpose that grid onto the yard. Then its just a connect th dots and lines on the yard.

Should not take too long actualy to get the entire thing plotted on the yard. Building the track would be best in concete, making it smooth enough wont b a problem.

I do not know much about how deep a road is in an F1 track but I'd dig 2"-3" down around your entire track, and fill int he concrete. Not cheap, but not very expensive either.
