Default HPI's Tuner Kit

So I ordered the Body Tuner Kit #85613 and got it this weekend.

It comes with 3 different sets of side view mirrors, an Intercooler, and a chrome Muffler
Plus the parts you need to mount it.

To mount the intercooler you have to slice up the bumper, wich I didnt want to do but did anyway.

A small HPI RACING decal to bring it out a little.

I decided to paint the couplers red for a more realistic look.

The muffler came with some questionable mounting intructions. According to the instructions you are to mount the muffler directly on to the shell with the hardware thats provided. That wasnt the best option for me because I wanted the exhaust to be functional so I had to dream something up.

After mindstorming, this is what I finally came up with.

I used a piece of sheetmetal that I cut out to attach it to the chasis

Then used a piece of sport bottle straw to connect it to the exhaust, then wrapped it with electric tape.

Since the drifter was going trough tome cool changes I thought Id paint the banged up rims for a nice tuner look. With a new set of type A drifting tires, Im ready to tear up the driveway!

I actually painted the rims with a brush. Not the best paint job, but Im satisfied with the results.

Rims and tires on, it starts to come alive

And the final result...
