RE: Wrens new engine
One of the reasons I have not replaced any of my 15kg Brand X flame-out, seize-up specials with the XL-200 is that 120mm case diameter. All of my mid-size birds are set up with the standard 110mm KJ-66 diameter cases and too much hassle to change them and shoe-horn in the larger case.
Now Wren has really hit on a winner. 110mm, 15kg, and kit-build option.
My SS has been flawless and the MK III-kit went together easily in about 6 hrs. Watching my buddy Larry T. put flight after flight on his 44's reflect the quality of the Wren product.
