However, I ran my mlst for almost a year without a LVC. Lipo will start to get slower shortly before it reaches too low of levels. Once you see it slows down, stop running. The first couple of times I ran lipo, I'd run for a couple of minutes, check the voltage, repeat as necessary. After a couple of runs doing this, you'll know when the lipo needs to be recharged. However, it still is safter and better for the lipo if you did have a LVC.
For me personally, if I were going brushless with LVC in a couple of months, I wouldn't getting a LVC now.
