RE: Upside down landing
Since I started working on it, the fuel tank was easier to remove than I thought. There was no fuel left, but there was leakage around the fuel and muffler lines, one of which separated at the fitting. Which, of course, leaves the engine mount. I'm figuring that I could build a firewall extension, similar to what's seen on the electrics, then attach a standard engine mount to that. Then, reinstall the fuel tank after testing it for leaks. Yup, still serviceable with a little work.
