Gentlemen, I will defer to your knowledge until such time as I can take apart and put back together the entire heli blindfolded, in 3 minutes. I was just indicating that it was the way I found it, so that is the way I replaced it. It's a trick from my days as a mechanic. If you I to tear something down that I wasn't familiar with, at every opportunity replace on the assy just as I found it. No worries it went on flat side up. That is one reason I posted the pic.

The heli is rebuilt and if the wind dies out I will use a peice of cardboard as a helipad and attempt to hover when or if the wind dies down. Is the aluminum head gear worth exploring? At $140 I will not be buying any, but just the swashplates are $25.
