Hi Lou -

I don't know anything about that ESC, but I can tell you that the "C" rating of a battery does not have anything to do with "burning up" ESCs or motors. A given motor/prop combination will draw only as much current as it needs. Increasing the "C" rating of the battery won't result in more current being drawn.

For example, if a 15C battery is sufficient for a given motor/prop combo, switching to an otherwise identical 25C battery won't cause the system to draw more current. All else being equal, the 25C battery will hold its voltage better and give you longer flight times. It will likely weigh more as well, which may be a consideration with some planes.
