Mr. Hodges (I assume you prefer the more formal approach)
Oh, hell no. "Mister" is what the Navy says to each other when they can't spell 'moron'

(dig at Bill, I'm sure to get a good one back)
"Sir" is what I got pointed at me when I was in the AF, but I kept looking around, trying to figure out where my Dad was, that's who I always thought of as 'sir'. I'm just Ken, or HEY, YOU !!
What you said about the Smart Fly & company is what I wanted to hear. I wanted to take all the steps necessary to keep from losing this build-in-progress to an avoidable electrical shortcoming. I'm going with NiMH 6V, two 2000mAh or better. All my servos (except throttle) are 645MG Hitecs. You sure gave yourself a margin with 8600mAh. Think it's enough
Welcome to the 'Hood
Ken,
Mister is what the Navy calls it's Warrant Officers, and any other useless Officer grade below Full Commander (O-1 through O-4), you know, the Officer grades (in all branches) who couldn't pour PP out of a boot with instructions written on the heel.

Enlisted personell are called by their last names until they reach the E-7 level, and then they are referred to as Chief. Calling someone Master Chief was not done until after I retired. I think it came about from the Movies, or maybe it was started by the Surface Skimmers, or the Airdales. In the Air Force, you didn't refer to anyone as Technical Sergeant, or Staff Sergeant, you just called them Sergeant didn't you? The Chief thing is kind of the same way. With you Officer types, you have to indicate the grade, otherwise they start thinking that they are something special. Officers get saluted so that the Op-For will know whom to target.
Note: I actually thought about enlisting in the Air Farce....Force, but I passed the GCT/ARI, Plus my parents were married as well, so the USA&F wasn't an option. Your turn Air Scout....
