90° is definintely not too hot. Here in Oklahoma that's cool. We regularly fly at temps above 90°, and flying in 100°+ is not uncommon.

It sounds like your low end is set too rich, and that's why it's hesitating. Changes in humidity can change the way the engine performs and require you to reset your low and high end settings.
