Nice dream machine but I think I'd replace that gyro with the Spartan DS760 or Solid G gyro but I do like your other choices. The Curtis Youngblood governor is called the ATG.
Thanks for the correction on the CY governor, I got them comfused as I was typing. [

] I have little to no experience with the Spartan, and the Solid G that I have, is giving me problems. Since it was given to me, I have no clue if it is from the first batch of gyros of from subsequent batches. I'll have to call CYE to figure it out.

CY had a recall on their solid G gyros due to some metallic dust that was not cleaned out properly during manufacturing. I would contact CY and send it to them for the free cleaning just in case.
To the OP, clones are hit and miss, they are significantly cheaper but quality control is not as good. Not all clones are made the same either, the copterx and hdx are very good, not sure of the others. As for "the next step" from a Belt CP, I still suggest you go larger rather than another 450. Why would you build another 450 with electronics like a 30amp esc and 3500kv motor? Where's the upgrade?
