If you don't have a lot of money to spend then perhaps you might want to wait until you have more money. Expenses add up very quickly in this hobby and it would be a disservice to you to suggest that you can do this "on the cheap".
I'm not trying to spoil your dream but a little honest assessment of the situation might be in order.
