RE: Top Flite B-25 - Wingspan Models Add-ons Build Thread
To continue on, we now need to cut the formers and stringers. My razor saw is pretty thin (If you don’t have a Zona razor saw definitely get one. They are worth every penny) and I could get it in to the cut marks made with the hobby knife. But if your saw isn’t this thin them you will want to pull up the covering around the area so that the saw doesn’t rip it.
Since the location of the stringers and formers are marked it’s pretty easy to cut down through the with a razor saw. After cutting them all I went to pull the cut section away and found that it was still attached. After looking through the holes in the fuselage I found that there was still parts of the formers left that I could not reach with the razor saw, there was a small section in the middle of the fuselage still securing the bottom in place. In picture #3 you can see that I have a small blade from a hole saw that I use to cut areas like this. With this blade I was able to work down inside the fuselage and cut the remaining portions of the formers. With these cut the bottom area comes away freely. When removing the cut out section mark it so that we can keep track of with end is forward.
Use a razor saw to cut away the two cross sections of the formers.
