Its hard for most of us to get money. I saved for over ten years before I bought my first radio and plane. Go to that club and get to meet some of the flyers there. They will be able to tell you a lot more about what their club is about. There's nothing wrong with starting with electric planes. Most clubs are glad to help a person starting out and you'll probably make some great friends.
