I have attached some pictures for your viewing pleasure. As you can see the weight with muffler and ignition is a tad over 50 ounces on my not very accurate scales. BME says 50 ounces so it is a light-weight.
This is significantly lighter than any 50cc-class engine on the market. Just for reference, this is about 1-2 ounces LIGHTER than the old SPE-40, 3 oz lighter than a ZDZ 40, 12+ oz less than a DA50 or DL50, and 16 oz lighter than a Brillelli 366GT with the side dump muffler, and 18 oz less than my Taurus 52 with the wraparound Pitts. This is indeed extremely light! In fact, it is only 3 ounces heavier than my OS 1.60, including BCM muffler, mount, and pump.

I am sure this engine will be quite powerful, but it is also so very light that it will be perfect for the smaller "tweener-size" ~27% planes like the GP Performance Series planes or others meant for the OS 1.60.

Do they have a price in mind when time comes for the general release?
