ok someone beat you to this about 20 years ago! Hirobo had one out but it turned out to be a dud because of a couple of things.
Biggest was it cost about 30$ that was in 87 and only fit there one model heli (the Shuttle) and only with its stock landing gear and stock canopy.
I see you have your balancer holding the heli by the flybar and not even close to the base of the flybar![X(]
This is a really big no no. Yes, I know we all do it but its bad for the flybar AND ther related parts and links. I have no idea where anyone came up with the idea of using the flybar to pick up a heli to balance it with, but it was some idiot that had NO clue in the world what they were doing or the damage they could cause to that little rod with the funny paddles on the ends. Guess is it looked convenient is all.
Some how this idea of using the flybar to balance it got handed down from one moron another and as the rest of the world discovered fire and learned to tend crops many still are nut and berry gathers and insist on picking the heli up by the flybar. They probably pick up the kids by one arm also...[

That piece of wire even slightly bent can cause all sorts of havec on blade pitch and tracking. So while you balanced your heli you just created a new problem in the process Now you end out trying to figure out why your pitch is so far off on one side to the other (this will be covered another time I get a soapbox to stand on)
As you progress to a size 30 nitro you will find you never pick up a heli by the flybar as it WILL bend it . a .32 gas and 30 Electric are NO where near the same size and weight.
Yes, and again, I know we all use the flybar to balance it, bad habits are hard to break...
Soo..
Suggest you readjust the arms to fit under the blade holders near or on where the bolt goes through it that is where the load on the blades is exerted and in flight that is what supports the entire heli. Possibly make a recess for the nut to actually fit loosely into so it does not slip or move around.
Also make one side of the jig adjustable so you can fit more then just the King in it, versitility is the key here, if the arms are long enough or adjustable and the entire unit can say be folded (think some cheap simple hinge arrangement on the uprights) it would be more idel for field use other then just on a bench, (only mentioned as a selling point) "fits all popular 300-500 size Electric helis"
Already seen a few diff versions over the years, I personally stick to a hook on a string I hang from beams in the basement.
Much the same system I have used on my planes for the last 40+ years and it works fine
In all its a better basic design the most have been (except the flybar thing) as you are accounting for diff skids (means diff helis too) [8D]
