RE: T-Rex 600E Pitch range adjustment problem
Greetings,
I also just finnished a 600e. One test flight. I dont use a swash leveler, just my eye. I just take a hex driver and wedge it in by the seasaw to get square with the main shaft. That is how I learned from the finless vids. That said, when I went through the head setup, I had to change the factory linkage lengths. At mid stick, with servo arms at 90, fly bar level, (90 to the main shaft) the two lower control arms should be level with each other as you look across them. Next, work up to the upper control arms, adjust those to be level with each other. Next, with blades removed, eyeball across the main blade grips lengthwise. They should be dead level with each other and level with the head. Be sure the links to the grips are the same length here, if not something is wrong below. You can adjust the pitch with endpoints in the radio. Just be sure its not binding with swash all the way down, not hitting at the top. If you have not looked at the 600e build vids you may want to check out the head setup.
Hope this helps. Rick
