I think you are really going to love the Reactor. I love flying this thing. It has been alot of fun and it has taught me alot about more advanced maneuvers. I have only recetly become interested in Pattern style manueuvers. They are much more difficult than I originally thought. I am still working on straight and level flight! I'm getting better though.

Thanks for everyone who has given me some advice. This will get me going in the right direction.

I urge you to stay with pattern flying if for nothing else, the descipline it requires. The desciplined flying will make you a better pilot overall

Well said , Matt. May I suggest that even one who chooses not to compete regularly or at all, should develop a routine via pattern flying . In time, that person will notice that some of the pilots who started out with him/her are still performing at a lower level and experiencing a greater frequency of mental errors while airborne. Someone once called it purposeful flying.
