RE: Blade 400 Gyro
Live from Delta Junction, Alaska:
Hey Max,
You can get the GY401 for more like $125 shipped from various online vendors.
The Logictech 2100T is about $105 shipped and from what I read is equally as good & lighter, although it might be harder to set up.
Both of these gyros will transfer to another heli down the road and I think that's not a bad idea.
Another option would be to go with another G110, of course, or even the comparable Telebee gyro.
I've heard good things about those and I think they can be found for less than the stock gyro.
Shane (stump3r) might be able to help you with the Telebee.
I would also try opening up your gyro and see if there is an obvious shorted/broken solder joint.
Who knows, maybe it's something you can fix.
That's all I got for now.
It's after 11pm and still light out.[&:]
But I need to get to sleep anyway for some hard fishing tomorrow.[8D]
Last night I was out on the Chena river until almost 11:30pm.
Man, I could see myself dying from exhaustion if I lived here.
Later.
