i have the rustler vxl, been run mostly with a 3s lipo. the vxl motor is awsome. its not THE fastest brushless, but in my opinion it is the most durable. short of getting it soaked or gearing it wicked high, it will last a very long time. my 1st vxl motor has about 10-15 hours of runtime on it. i need to take it apart and clean it, as it gets hotter than it used to. nothing wrong with it, just needs to be cleaned. i bought a second one new for $55. these things fly on 3s!
