I was up visiting a friend in another state last week. He had a CX2 and that little thing was kind of a blast to fly. I have been thinking about getting something for a while, but just never got the interest up enough. Well that did it.

I have an electronics backround, and so this stuff has always interested me.

So you have to love craigslist. I managed to get a CX2 and a CP Pro from a guy who does RC planes. He said he just couldnt get either to work, the CX2 just flips over, and the CP Pro just doesnt fly right.

Well the CX2 had a bad servo, it had a lot of oscillation and didnt center right. The centering could have just been from a crash and the arm moving teeth, but that oscillation wasnt right. So I went and got a new servo, $15.

The CP Pro, I havent even tried yet. I think I will wait. But I am pretty sure why it wasnt flying right. He had the main rotor blades mounted opposing like a plane. Ooops!

Anyways, thanks to soloboss's quick guide I got the CX2 almost hovering perfect, just ran outta battery.
