Default RE: SAPAC T-45 COMPOSITE GOSHAWK

The current factory motor is a great motor, as is the fan unit. Make sure you balance the fan well, spend time fitting the rotor/collet adapter up neatly and then make sure you bench test it when fitting the spinner, if any vibration is evident keep rotating the spinner until you find the sweet spot.

It needs a 4100 4s1p pack minimum as it pulls 60+ amps, mine is running around 850 watts on 4100 20c pack. 45 degree landings? Video please this model comes out around 1.6kg+, certainly no foamie and I dont see it high alfa landing all that well!

As for those electric retracts, forget em, they are weak, the old ones broke leg mounts and the new ones I hear are now stripping gears regularly. Best retracts for the T45 (and the ones everyone seems to be fitting) are the HET micro air retracts, beautifully made and can handle up to 2.5kg models. They come with a laser cut front wheel mount assembly so you can build the front setup with steering etc then drop it in as one piece.
