ORIGINAL: erbroens

On Tam's I had to hard mount the servos to the fuselage and add some thin CA to teh Elevon torque shaft to eliminate all the slop. .
Interesting to read this David.. any special care to do it ?

also ditto on the tailerons suggestion too, I liked more my F-16 with aleirons not mixed with the elevators.

Btw, I3dm .. nice paint scheme!

Quique, not really it is simple. Tam's setup uses soft mounted Nylon "L" brackets, which are not totally rigid. I replaced them with hardwood blocks and mounted the servo with no grommets.
On the ELEVN torque rod, you just apply some thin CA, let it cure and then insert them on the bushings and work them out. At first they are rigid but after a couple of cycles they loosen out.

On my TJ, the slop went from +/- .25 to virtually nothing. Before doing this, I did have a scare on a high speed low pass, which made me rework the setup.
