Default RE: Taking Orders For Hanno Piston/Liner Sets

ORIGINAL: Henniekuyper

Hi everyone

A) I found a used O.S. 61 RF without the pump, and managed to get a new Piston/cylinderas the existing one suffered from plating that came loose due to wrong fitment of the piston when the bearings where replaced(180deg). It did come with the header pipe.
According to old O.S. listings the engine used a tuned pipe o.s. 72101110. Did hatori also made these pipes, or what is the specifications or where could I obtain one?

B) I bought two new hanno specials II's and the one needs a liner as this new engine where opened to get the liner for spare part. Could anyone help here? Too late for a order?

Thanks
Hennie
I've done allot of research (reading old posts) about the OS RF engines..I have little practical experience...Here is my understanding:

Standard OS 61RF or RF-P Engines (Not Hanno):
The standard OS RF's guys were running the Hatori 650 pipe...I think you need to contact Singapore Hobbies for these...I'm not sure of the current status:

(I think you can use the Hatori 700 pipe also)

-OR-

A pipe designed for a 10cc Long Chamber engine should run fine...

There are Mac's Quiet pipes which should be readily available (model #1062)...

Theres a guy who said he would make some Carbon Fiber pipes (suppose to be really nice)...S&W:
http://www.s-whobby.com/
(They don't show on his webpage anymore but he said he could still make them)

(I have several Bolly Carbon Fiber pipes and they are Awesome but no longer available...I wanna get some of the S&W pipes one of these days!!)

OS 61RF-P Hanno Special Engine:
The pipe for Hanno Engine is a little longer than either the Hatori 650 or 700...Towers website mentions the Hanno Pipe should not be used for the standard RF engines...They claim it's "specially tuned" for the Hanno engine...(I personally don't know cause I've never tried it)

I do believe Hatori makes the current Hanno pipe...I have one and it looks exactly like my Hatori 650 pipes except it has a longer distance to the first baffle and is anodized red..

Hopefully this isn't too confusing...
