Default RE: New to forums and RC Helo's

Well I live in ABQ, but I am currently in the SF Bay area for work.

Both helos had the mounts for the ping pongs. The top of the flybar was cracked, and at times it would come out, and the shaft was a bit bent when I rolled it, so i got an aluminum topped replacement.

So far I can get it to hover in about a foot square. It still needs some tuning though, that part seems like a long process as it seems you have to adjust the swash plate hookups and the proportional back and forth as one seems to effect the others.

It definately feels like the shake is due to the flybar. I can take the blades off and it still shakes. Although once its in the air it is not too bad, but you can see the tail shaking.

I just really need to work on the tuning for now. And I need more space than my hotel room allows. Since its the weekend I will take it out to the parking lot. I spun up the CPP, and holy crap!

So far pretty good though. Only managed to break 2 lower blades so far.
