Very true, Dar. The other day there was a bidding war over an FP .20. It sold for around $125! For a lowly FP .20! I often see Super Tigre .40's sell for more than $50 when most hobby shops sell them for $49.99 new w/warranties. Cox stuff has gotten insane, especially the old grey props.

I get a lot of pleasure and reward out of cleaning up old engines and replacing the bearings, rings, gaskets, etc. I enjoy it as much as building. Once in a while I'll end up spending enough on new parts to almost pay for a NIB example. That's rare, but since half the fun is fixing them up, it's like another facet of the hobby for me. I mean, scratch building from plans can often cost more than a shiny new ARF, but you get what you pay for, right?

Dave, the FP20's are sought after by the control line stunt crowd. They work very well in the .35 size Top Flite Flite Streak models as well as the Sig Skyray .35 after you replace the ply ribs with balsa ribs.
