I know how you feel, everybody can tell you it was not your fault but that doesn't make that nagging feeliong in your stomach go away.
You were on your first flight, don't be so hard on yourself. I put my trainer [loaned to me by neighbor] in the trees this last Sat. [total loss except for engine, receive, etc.], but this is my 5th crash and third lost airplane. I felt like just chucking the whole program until the guys started telling me their early expierences. Mine don't sound quite so bad compared to some of their stories.

If you don't give up, I won't.
